The weekend is finally here! I cannot emphasize how important weekends are to me right now. And i am so thrilled…have been ordering a lot of make up and skin care products recently. And a few came in just right about time.
So i am going to comment a bit on how well or bullshit the product is, just for a heads up in case you are also thinking of getting one!
So going clockwise in the photo…

Mac eye shadow in Daisychain
urm, i love this eye shadow because it is so neutral. it can be used as a softener at the side crease of your eye to sort of create an enlarging effect.
Lancome Blanc Expert
So i got this in a lotion one, and i have to say i am not really impress by the product. I have heard raves about Lancome brightening/whitening series but this considering the price isn’t really worth it. I think my Clinique or Kiehls toner works better than this.
Benefit sun tinted lotion in spf 15
When i first got this, i was duped into basically buying it because I got the Benefit ‘Hello Flawless’ Foundation, which I am entitled for the sun tinted lotion promo. So I was thinking why the hell not? I don’t think it works absolutely very well as a sun screen but I do do think that it works as a very good makeup base. Although i would still highly recommend a primer. For the record, I think it is better than my Clinique sun block cos it is less drying but then again i have yet to try many enough to conclude anything else.
Benefit ‘Hello Flawless’ Powder
Alright, i have to comment that i love this product. Sadly, it only comes in 3-4 shades if i remember. But coverage is good and it does not make your face look cakey, at least not for mine. I chose the powder because all along i have been trying liquid foundations and I feel more comfortable now with powder form as it looks less matte and gives a more natural look.
ELF Bronzing Powder
This was my very first ELF product, along with the concealer. Honestly, i didn’t like both. But now that ELF has come out with their improved version called the Studio Line, i am so excited. I have already bought 5 of their brushes (each costing USD3, how inexpensive!) and also their new blush cum bronzer duo compact. Many reviews have shown that the new Studio Line brushes are comparable to MAC’s and only a fraction of MAC price!
MAC Lip Gloss A18 and Maybelline Water Shine Essence Lip Gloss
I am going to talk about these two together. Both were gifts, thanks to the nice folks who got me these. I have to admit that MAC one is inferior to the Maybelline one. I prefer a less sticky feel on my lips so I think the Maybelline one works smoother and it is definitely much nicer smelling than MAC. Nevertheless i love the MAC colour cos it is nude. So into nude colours currently.
Clinque concealer
Not a fan of this, works fine but it smells funny.
And earlier this week, I bought the Coastal Scents 88 Make up palette! Heard so much about it, and how pigmented the colours are. In case if you are looking for a palette too, do try these. I bought the ones in shimmery, because i want to start experimenting on smoky eyes and since i don’t wear eye shadow to work… i figured that might as well get shimmery!

And i finally persuaded myself enough to get the Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer. It is long about time! haha i believe most ladies would have heard about this primer. It is supposedly the best out there which can last up to 8-9 hours.

Lastly the one product on my dying wish list is the MAC Spaced Out blusher which is discontinued! Basically, you cannot find this anymore in any stores out there. After trying so many blushers, I feel that MAC has one of the best ever. The reason I want to get this is because it is exactly like NARS Orgasm blusher just less shimmery.

And i got myself some very affordable skin care products on drugstore.com like Burt Bees and Queen Helen products
So hungry right now! Till then, tata
